ScreenSharing on Mac!

Did you know that your mac has screen sharing built-in! This means there’s no need to install and/or educate someone about Zoom and it’s restrictions! Heres a few ways to get started!

  1. The fastest way to get started is to open the messages app on your mac, selecting the person you’d like to ScreenShare with, then selected the (i) next to their name, and then clicking ‘Share’ (See screenshot below)

2. You can use Spotlight Search to search and open Screen Sharing. The fastest way to open Spotlight Search on your mac is to use the Keyboard Shortcut: Command+Space Bar (keep in mind if you click and hold on the spacebar you may trigger Siri instead, if that happens, you could alternatively ask Siri to open ScreenSharing)

3. If you’re a pro tools user and you have disabled spotlight search, or if you’re not a fan of keyboard shortcuts, you can click the magnifying glass in the top right corner of your mac screen to activate Spotlight Search

4. You can also navigate to the Screen Sharing app in Finder by navigating to your System Folder, then clicking on Library, then opening the CoreServices folder and then looking within the Applications Folder (see screenshot below)
